In order to identify developmental problems in children at an earlier stage and provide necessary treatment, the Health Care Foundation, National Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation’s (NIPMR) Rehab Express Project, organized a Disability Assessment Camp in collaboration with College Social Work Department of LISSAH at Kaithapoil on 7th day of March 2023. International Children’s Peace Prize finalist Azim Velimanna inaugurated the camp in which the Presidential address was given by Dr. Benny Joseph, Principal LISSAH College and the Benedictory address was given by Rev. Fr. Niju Thalachira Director LISSAH College. Nearly 40 children were assessed during the camp. The camp was conducted just in 2 Panchayath’s, and as a further proliferation of the Disability assessment program, the camp will be conducted at several other places also.
