Dear All,
The Healthcare Foundation and its activities as seen today are a reflection of the decision and their desire taken by a group of young people 13 years ago. Starting from a rented house and then shifting to a shed, Karunyatheeram and Health Care Foundation has reached its present stage only due to the physical, mental and financial cooperation of thousands of philanthropists. All these supports received both directly and indirectly are specially for differently abled people and their families welfare and upliftment. Health Care Foundation will be able to do tenfold things with the implementation of our upcoming big projects like Care Village, Pratheekshabhavan, Community Radio Station etc. We needs your help and support. Any human being in this society can work as a part of this organization which works in a completely democratic manner. It's a humble request to be ready to work with the organization and to cooperate at least with your heart.

OUR STORY

The founder members of the Health Care Foundation (HCF) once met with an incident year’s back. A young child is screaming inside a locked room nakedly. The members was empathetic towards the situation and enquired about the incident to other neighbors, they shared the pathetic condition of the family, where the child only have his mother and she went out in search of job for gaining money. And the child is suffering from Autism. They shared the inspiration gained from the incident and the strong feeling to provide day care for Person with Disabilities (PWD) to some of their like-minded friends. Fuelled with enthusiasm and inspiration, founders gave wings to their dream. Thus, decided to start a day care for PwD in a rented building. But for the first year itself approximately 30 individuals was presented for the admission. On behalf of this, they decided to start an institution for the protection, education and well-being of Person with Disabilities. Health Care Foundation (HCF) was registered as an Organization under Societies Registration Act in the year 2010. HCF is a secular, non-political, non-governmental, non-profitable, registered charitable organization. Over the last 13 years, HCF has evolved as a sustainable Non-Government Organisation - Committed to do real work to uplift and empower intellectually disabled and mentally challenged persons irrespective of all discriminations, relief operations, medical camps, blood donation camps, and national integration camps for youth, guidance and counseling, training in disaster management and distribution of medical equipment’s which is capable of bringing drastic change among communities and societies.
