Health Care Foundation (HCF) Poonoor and Nehru Yuva Kendra Kozhikode cordially conducted District Special School Sports Meet on January 31st at Lions Turf Poonoor and track and field competitions at Usha School of Athletics on February 1st 2023. There were students, staffs and parents from 16 Special Schools of Calicut District, in which nearly 500 members were part of the meet. The football match was inaugurated by District Panchayath President Mrs. Sheeja Sasi, Karunyatheeram Special School Chairman Mr. Babu Kudukkil Presided over. The track and field athletics events were conducted at Usha School of Athletics located at Kinalur on 2nd day from 8 am to 6 pm. District Special School Sports Meet was inaugurated by Sports Journalist Mr. Kamal Varadoor, Panangad Panchayath President V.M Kuttikrishnan presided over the meet and Mr. Shukoor Kinaloor Chairman of Accon Foundation was the Chief Guest.
